Abstrak

Batik is a traditional cloth that is used for its own purposes, both for daily use and to complement traditional ceremonies.  In its development, batik was made for trade purposes because it was in demand by the community.  Therefore, batik which was originally only made with canting and known as written batik, was developed using a stamp in order to supply market needs.  The stamp technique speeds up batik making, which can then create varied patterns

 Method of creation of works uses Gustami's theory which consists of an exploration stage with surveys to several batik places, the design stage through trials in the arrangement of existing stamps and the translation stage in the form of several alternative designs from flora motif stamps, which are combined with writing techniques.  to make a combination batik on a piece of cloth for the finger or long cloth function.  For young generation, products can be applied creatively according to the prevailing fashion.
