Peer Review Process
Submission and Review System
Tattwaloka Journal operates an integrated online management system for all submissions and peer reviews. The Editorial Board holds full authority over paper selection and the appointment of qualified reviewers.
Double-Blind Review Mechanism
The journal upholds the highest standards of scientific integrity and objectivity; it employs a double-blind peer review process. In this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly anonymous. To facilitate this, all identifying information must be removed from the manuscript before submission. This ensures that evaluations are based solely on the work's merit, methodology, and original contribution, effectively eliminating bias and conflicts of interest.
Evaluation Criteria
Each manuscript is typically assessed by at least two independent experts. The review process focuses on several core pillars:
Originality and Novelty
- Objectivity and Methodological Rigour
- Scientific Impact and Contribution
- Clarity of Conclusions and Reference Quality
Editorial Decisions
The final decision is communicated to the corresponding author based on the reviewers' recommendations. There are four possible outcomes:
- Accept Submission: The paper is approved for publication, potentially subject to minor sub-editing or formatting adjustments.
- Revision: Authors must modify the manuscript based on specific feedback within two weeks. A point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments is required.
- Resubmit for Review: The current version is not acceptable, but shows potential. Authors may submit a significantly reworked version as a new entry.
- Decline Submission: The paper is judged unsuitable for the journal, and resubmission is not permitted.
Confidentiality and Timelines
The Editorial Board ensures strict confidentiality regarding all submitted materials and communications. The standard editorial timeline is as follows:
- Initial Decision: 2 weeks
- Review Period: 4 weeks
- Publication Lead Time: 2 to 4 weeks (post-acceptance)
