Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process & Editorial Workflow

Submission and Review System: Tattwaloka Journal operates an integrated online management system for all submissions and peer reviews. The Editorial Board holds full authority over paper selection and the appointment of qualified peer reviewers.

Double-Blind Review Mechanism

The journal upholds the highest standards of scientific integrity and objectivity by employing a double-blind peer review process. Identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly anonymous throughout the process. Authors must remove all self-identifying information from the manuscript file prior to submission to eliminate bias and conflicts of interest.

Evaluation Criteria

Each manuscript is assessed by at least two independent expert reviewers based on:

  • Originality & Novelty: Fresh theoretical or empirical contributions to design research.
  • Methodological Rigour: Objectivity, sound execution, and scientific structure.
  • Impact & Contribution: Relevance to academic discourse and industry practice.
  • Clarity & References: Clear conclusions backed by high-quality literature citations.

Standard Timelines

The Editorial Board ensures strict confidentiality and adheres to an efficient review schedule:

Initial Desk Decision: 2 Weeks
Peer Review Period: 4 Weeks
Publication Lead Time: 2–4 Weeks

Possible Editorial Decisions

Final decisions are communicated to the corresponding author based on peer reviewer recommendations:

1. Accept Submission
The paper is approved for publication, subject to minor sub-editing or layout formatting adjustments.
2. Revision Required
Authors must modify the manuscript based on reviewer feedback within 2 weeks and submit a point-by-point response.
3. Resubmit for Review
The current version is not acceptable but shows potential. Authors may submit a significantly reworked version as a new entry.
4. Decline Submission
The paper is judged unsuitable for the journal's standards or scope, and resubmission is not permitted.
