Analyzing the elements of musicality in a musical composition is intended to find how musical implementation can realize ideas and concepts that have been planned by the composer and translated into the form of musical language. The implementation of these elements then became one of the topics of discussion regarding the element of musicality in the musical composition of "Jaya Baya" JES Gamelan Fusion. The musical composition "Jaya Baya" is a composition resulting from a rearrangement of the composition with the same title from the Sekar Jaya Gamelan Group, created by I Nyoman Windha in 2002 by taking the concept of fusion music style, which is to combine the value of Balinese karawitan with the value of Western music presented by JGF (Jes Gamelan Fusion). Jes Gamelan Fusion is a music project initiated by I Nyoman Windha, as a form of creativity in the combination of two types of gamelan that is packaged with innovative styles, but still rooted in Balinese karawitan. The two types of gamelan as the basic foundation are Gamelan Jegog and Gamelan Semar Pagulingan Saih Pitu which certainly give rise to the perspective of sound color and instrumentation techniques as a creative force for composition creation. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a focus on article description in the form of the results of the analysis of the implementation of elements of musicality in the musical composition of "Jaya Baya" using a musicological approach.
